That sandwich & soup special has my name all over it! This place is cheap, always open, servers are friendly, and the food is filling. Given the option of soup or salad, definitely go for the soup-- It's delicious! The salad is basically a bowl of big chunks of lettuce. I'm not a fan of potatoes, but this is the place for you, if you are. I swear it seemed like everything comes with fries, wedges, mashed... Their sides are limiting, but the pies are hefty & delish. I usually go late evenings.

Was in OKC for a conference and stayed at a hotel directly across the highway. When I checked in I mentioned I was hungry and the counter person pointed out the window to this place on the opposite side of the highway. The first thing that got my attention was "24 hours" broadcast on the front. Always a pretty good sign of a decent diner. The inside is typical of the type you see everywhere with both booths and a long bar. The next thing, when I got inside, I found out breakfast was available any time during those 24 hours. I love breakfast. They had a few omelets that were southern in style including what they termed a huevos rancheros. The first time I've ever had an omelet with chili on it. (I mentioned that to my waitress and she seemed surprised, so I had to tell her that's not the way we do it in south Texas...) My waitress was very friendly, and I made sure I got her again when I went back. If you go there ask for Cindy. I went back twice during my brief weekend stay.

Great for a greasy spoon kinda place. Prices are perfectly matched for the quality of food. Over-all, go eat... the Hamburger Steak is awesome!

The staff is always friendly. The food is always good and priced reasonably. The whole place has a friendly atmosphere. It's like an old style cafe I always feel kind of homie when I go in there. Salads are always fresh and you can get breakfast 24 hours a day. I'll give them 5 stars. It seems to be the perfect place for working class people.

Good food, if you enjoy tasteless eggs and dry biscuits covered with glue-like gravy. The restrooms were quite dirty, as are all the windows. On a positive note, the waitress was very pleasant and checked frequently for coffee refills.

First time going to mama Lous for lunch and I ordered a burger there. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The reason I gave 1 star is because I was about finished with my food and under my fries I found a small dead fly. I was pretty disgusted.

When I saw Mama Lou's, I thought of Mama Lu's in the SGV. Sadly not the same, but it did fill our tummies before the plane ride home to L.A. Diner style food in a Denny's-like atmosphere. Omelettes, burgers, chili, etc. A lil too hearty for a plane ride, but it was a short trip anyways. Pros: - Next to Candlewood Suites where we picked up our friend. - Biscuits and gravy are an option with your breakfast besides boring toast!

Stopped in for a late night meal while traveling through OKC. Coffee service was so fast I couldn't see the bottom of the cup once. staff was friendly, and you definitely get a lot of food for a decent price!

Food was solid. Come here for an old-fashioned, homey, classic experience. Breakfast all night. Service is great and friendly.
